Just a little Question

My brother got married last year and before the wedding I thought I liked my sister-in law. Since they got married I feel both of them have changed. She seems so fake around my kids that it makes my husband and I sick. Anyway, here is my question.... I have been in town for two weeks and she has not called to see the kids or do things with them. My brother has called, but I guess he is too busy to take the kids anywhere. Should they be calling and doing things with the kids??? If the situation was reversed I would call to see my niece and nephew. Especially if they lived out of state.

Mariel 3 1/2 months, can you believe she was a preemie. So, last night I went to yoga with a friend and boy am I feeling it today. It was refreshing to be away from the kids for an hour. I miss being able to leave the kids with my mom and dad. That's one draw back to not having family in the area.I think we might hit the swim park today if it's not to crowded. What are you doing today???

Hello Ohio

We made it!!!! I feel like our time is going so fast. I have been running around getting the last school supplies. For those of you that don't know my family lives in Ohio and so did I until two years ago. My husband's job took us to D.C. and now upstate NY. Anyway, when I'm home it's a little vacation for me. I get help with the kids and don't have to cook ( so I try to get home a lot).

Help!!!!

I think my milk supply is low. I started the mini-pill about 3 weeks ago and have noticed a drop in supply (breast don't feel as full). I'm afraid to get off because I also started my period which means I could be fertile. We want one more child ( I think) but I need a little time to get my body back in shape ( the baby is only 3 months old). Any ideas ( my husband is not going to use anything ).

Just Wondering

So, I went to the grocery store with the kids the other day and I felt we were on display. Is it that odd to see a family of four children these days? Some people just smiled at us as I tried to maintain the sanity of myself and kids, others acted as if we were purple. All the kids were very well behaved ( we were only there an hour) so I know they were not staring because they were acting like animals. Why then do they feel the need? One women nearly feel over because she was so busy looking at us. Is it because were a biracial family in an all white or mostly white town? I don't know but it gets on my nerves. It personally warms my heart to see a mom with a bunch of kids in tow.

Where does the time go??

Well, I guess we must return home to Daddy. Mariel has grown so much over the last 3 weeks and she sleeps about 5 hours at night. We will be back next month Ohio until then stay strong. Oh yeah, Nonno get some rest cause were coming back!!!!

Where it all started

There are some reasons why I miss Ohio,many are few, but they do exist. I enjoy driving around and knowing exactly where I'm going. I don't have to call my husband in a panic and ask which direction to go. The other reason I enjoy going back is our old townhouse(which we still own,can't seem to sell it) and reminiscing about our lives. I think about each new baby we brought home and how we would make it with 2 bedrooms and 3 kids. Somehow we made it work and moved on to the next phase in our lives. It's funny how we complain about certain times in our lives, but then grow to miss them. I would never want to go back , but appreciate the time and lessons I learned.

Things I hate

1. Mean kids
2. Kids with NO discipline
3. People that ask me if I'm done having kids
4. People that ask me if I'm going back to work ( I work really hard at home, Thanks)
5. People that ask me if their all mine ( no I borrowed them for the day)
6. People that think that 4 kids are enough( I never said 2 dogs was too many)
7. People that think they know me, but don't.

I think that's enough for today.

Thoughts for the Day

Since I been away from my husband for a week, I realize how much I miss our crazy life. My husband works very hard and that leaves me to care for the children. Most days they are in bed before he gets home. I occasionally wish I had family around to help or just to get a break. At the end of the day my patience begins to fade away. So, I do spend time on the phone complaining to my girlfriends about not having help. Well, I think this week I learned although it would be nice to have help or family around it can also make you dependent upon that help. I think I do alright all alone and I think GOD been trying to teach me that for awhile, good thing I started listening.

Why Why Why??????

I drove to Ohio yesterday and I 'am just wondering WHY people in New York feel as if they must drive like crazed animals. I can't stand they way all New Yorkers drive. They feel as if they are the only ones on the road that matter. I happen to think my precious cargo is pretty important. Anyway, We are here!

First Date since the baby

We got away. My husbands partner at work got married last night. She looked lovely. However, every time I go to a wedding I want to do my over. I like to believe most women feel the same way. Anyway, besides being extremely hot we had a good time.

No Good Solution

Before our last angel was born we researched what stroller we should get. We could not come up with a good choice , so we settled on the chicco travel system. I love the car seat , but could do without the stroller. Now I want a Phil and Ted , I just have to convince my husband that it would make my life easier and is worth five hundred dollars.
